Happy New Year Everyone!
Hope 2011 treated you well, but now it's time to say hi to 2012. Wendi and Wyann's show will upload weekly covering everything from music to health. In order to get the year started off right, we decided to do a show outlining the takeaways from 2011: what was good and what can be improved. Try this for yourself when you have time because it really makes you see how far you've come. It's easy to forget the good stuff as we all constantly are striving to be better; therefore, make time to recognize your job well done!
On that note, get your ears ready to be entertained- AND as always have a safe, joyful, productive week!

Good morning. Today I meet you a little saddened by some news: a dear friend and gifted singer, Vesta Williams, passed away yesterday. There is still very little available on the details of her death. In our professional musical careers, we've shared the stage with her on various occasions. Her smile captivated audiences and her sound, well, it just bout knocked you down! She will be missed dearly. Please enjoy this song by Vesta, her most popular in my opinion: "Congratulations."

This evening is nearing its end. Still have about an hour and a half left of school before shutting it down completely. Had a great day working and meeting with my team, colleagues and family the Vaughn! They are some of the most brilliant people I've ever met. Literally! God has blessed us with so much and we realize the responsibility we have to this world.
Tonight in the meeting my dad, Wayne Vaughn, asked us all, "Are you willing to sacrifice a social life to get what you want?" The question seemed to linger in the air for a second while everyone soaked in what this meant. Then he gave examples of things we could cut to make more time to do this thing called music. To become people who can effect positive change, to become an opinion leader. When I started to crunch the details of the sacrifices I could make to maximize time, I didn't get sad-I got glad!
Hey it's all possible with a little restructuring and time management. Putting First Things First as Stephen Covey would say. Boy, we just don't know how hard that is sometimes. Sometimes it kinda feels like we are Workin' Day and Night! So as I continue this last 60+ minutes in school, I'll let my boy Mike serenade me with one of my favorite songs every: Workin' Day and Night by the beloved Michael Jackson

Today I'm sharing a song produced and written by Daniel Crawford, Wyann and Wendi Vaughn entitled "Good, Bad, and Ugly". The song reminds us that in life we have to keep going and give our all no matter the circumstance. There are times when life will get you down. Challenges can make us feel like there is no other way out of the confusion. But, if you live through the pain, you will find that tomorrow is a new day. No matter what you've done or what's been done to you, there is hope to be strong wise and victorious! You will make it through. In life we just have to take the good, bad, and ugly!
